Glenwood Canyon Kayak is owned and operated by Chris Vogt and Brian Wright.  Together they have 22 years of river experience.  Chris got his start on the river as a raft guide on the Upper Roaring Fork and has been an avid kayaker for several years.  Chris is also a certified EMT Basic.  Brian has been kayaking since he was 10 years old and has paddled numerous rivers in several states and countries.  Brian has also competed in events such as Fibark (First in Boating the Arkansas), which draws some of the best boaters in the world.  Both Chris and Brian are certified whitewater kayak instructors.  All GCK instructors have advanced first aid certification, and are certified by the American Canoe Association.

Glenwood Canyon Kayak uses a safety oriented, logical progression that gives students the basics that they need to take kayaking to whatever level they desire.  We offer a variety of kayaking programs to teach students what they need to know to safely enjoy our beautiful river systems.
